Typical values of key velocity – well, I found this on Wikipedia Dynamics(music). There is a link to Apple pro logic 9 user manual for midi step input recording. Do not no if is it useful. Different keyboards react in different ways. I have had seven. In my opinion best to tweak it for playingstyle.
