Thank you very much for the curve cordinates. Now I got an enjoyable piano playing expierience. I am using a cheap M-Audio 88 ES keystation, and had problems getting a good velocity curve. Others have complained about M 88 ,too. Now I can play soft and loud. Had to change it a bit,

After spending a number of years researching piano controller keyboards, purchasing and then being dissappointed etc., some of you know what I mean! ,
I bought a VPC1. It is indeed a fine instrument and surely deserves it's praise.

However, I have always been puzzled regarding it's custom PianoTeq curve which has never made any sense to me pianisticly. This led me to spend most of my time since acquiring this fanastic piece of equipment to pursue the 'perfect curve' for this amazing incarnation. I had been convinced for a long time that the 'perfect piano (Teq) curve' would be achievable using a straight line approach. My latest curve which I am delighted with is featured in the velocity curve forum. This particular curve allows the pianist to really 'dig in' to the keys on the ascent to fff. It also allows for ppp's.

I must point out that I have an adapted VPC1 as I had disabled the escapement simulation lugs (because the made the touch at lower velocities a touch more irregular than I could accept. Having removed these escapement lugs up of the way, the true glory of the RM3 emerged. It is a very smooth action velocity consistency wise.

I used the bluthner concert preset with limiter disabled and a realistic volume.
