The beta testing of KIViR improved versions it's already running.
A Fazioli it's a good idea. But there are dozens of good ideas, and so a giant wishlist in their hands.

A 'realistic' upright, comparable of the Blüthner model in the sense of modelling a concrete/real instrument, sounds like very cool idea. +1 on that one.
I'm glad someone support me on the upright (even though I have to say that I'm not really fond of how the Blüthner sounds either) !
I have to correct you on one point, though : if I'm not mistaken, U4 IS modeled upon a "real" instrument, namely the Yamaha U3.
But that doesn't change a thing on the matter : most of PTQ's instruments - except the K2, which is supposed to be only loosely linked to a Kawai Concert Grand, but which has a GREAT sound of his own - are modeled on "particular" instruments (top-shelf, luxury, hand-made concert grands, or historical pianos), who have some "character", if we can say so. Even the D4 and the YC5 are nothing else than the Steinway D and a Yamaha Concert Grand, even if for some reasons (licence, I guess) their names are not fully indicated as is in the Blüthner case.
On the contrary, the Yamaha U3 is a quite common and "industrial" product - and not the top of my likings, personally.
It would be great to have an upright having the same "character" (history, craft, prestige, sound presence...) of the already existing grands...
PS FaziolY ? Is it an hybrid between a Steinway and a Fazioli ? Or a Fazioli on a trip to Hungary ?

]]>Even if we're far from any foreseeable new release (not that far from a new patch of PTQ5, though), I think we can still have the right to dream...
So, here's my wishlist so far as August 2014 :
1) An improved KIViR Erard (1922), which I love (But PTQ is hearing me on this one, since KIViR libraries are apparently undergoing a major update).
2) A Fazioli add-on
3) A second upright, possibly an "historical"European, like a Schimmel, an August Förster or a Pleyel
(oh, and adding the possibility to search for topics on the forum would be a great add-on in itself)
