I've not noticed any particular problem overtones on my N2, but overall the internal sound is pretty anemic. Pianoteq is so much more interesting/expressive to play than the N2 internal sound. The N2 is a super controller, though. Thanks for mentioning the service manual. I was able to find the PDF on the PTG website.

Dealing with a prominent, sharp overtone on B5 (service tech couldn't correct) and 2. Version upgrades(pg 124 service manual provided by Geoff Sykes, thanks). Specifically how do you know which version you have, and have there been upgrades in the past. The manual says they are attainable on Yanaha.com, but I can't locate them.
