			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Interesting....thanks.</p><p>I&#039;ve just tried the same test with my P140, and there is no difference in the sound between a quick release and a slow release. Which ties in with the note-off having no velocity parameter.</p>]]></content>

I couldn&#039;t tell you exactly what though.<br />It&#039;s a subtle effect, one that you hardly notice, but it is a definate improvement.</p><p>Using my Kurzweil MIDIboard (which has a slider for note off sensitivity) I can get the biggest change if I hit a big hard chord, sustain it for a couple of seconds, then lift my fingers off the keys.<br />The difference in sound between lifting my fingers off very fast, or very gently, is then quite marked.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Could someone confirm for me the Pianoteq response to a midi note-off command ? </p><p>I believe that note-off with a velocity parameter should alter the sound of the damper going back onto the string - is this how Pianoteq behaves ?</p><p>I&#039;m asking because my Yamaha P140 sends note-off without a velocity parameter, so I can&#039;t experiment myself.</p><p>Thanks,</p><p>Toby</p>]]></content>
