yes, the reverb is a bit more subtle and natural,
and the audio is less prone to hideous clipping if you play too many loud keys.

Both these contribute to make Pianoteq more pleasing and playable, and let it sit better in a mix.

Title says it all really.

I haven't sat down to critically compare it to 2.2, but I think it sounds better in a mix with other instruments. There's something about the integrity of the sound that seems more realistic. Perhaps it's due to the reverb side of things.
