			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Yes, I hear a big difference between the mics. But is not so much about EQ curves. For example, close to the hammers a cardioid and an omni are really different. I noticed differences between the mics seem to decrease as you get far from the piano. Thank you for the info! <i class="far fa-smile-wink smiley"></i> IRCAM Spat is really interesting but as you said... 1400EUR O.O and MIR is not so cheap as well <i class="far fa-grin-tongue smiley"></i> If Modartt released this fx, I&#039;d buy it for sure</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Do you hear any difference between the omni, cardiod, and figure-of-8 mics? </p><p>Room modeling is a prospective commercial opportunity for Modartt, I feel. The leading simulators - in terms of consistently achievable quality - IRCAM Spat, and Vienna MIR - are good, but inordinately expensive. (BTW they are based on different approaches, which suggests the science is not yet settled).</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hi thank you <i class="far fa-smile-wink smiley"></i><br />I just tested it and it&#039;s interesting but I don&#039;t feel like it the same thing than in Pianoteq. I&#039;m not really sure but mic part of Pianoteq is not really a reverb. You don&#039;t hear a specific room, but it&#039;s more about phasing between the microphones and where are the microphones placed. That&#039;s why when you put a mic far from the piano, you hear the distance from the piano but there is no reverb tail like a regular reverb vst. Am I completely crazy? <i class="far fa-smile smiley"></i></p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hi! I really love Pianoteq 5, especially the mic simulation part. I love the way it actually changes the timbre of the instrument, and the feeling space and distance from the speakers. It&#039;s the first time I hear something that actually sounds like a true space in a plugin. Cause it&#039;s not exactly reverb as we often use it in reverb plugins. I remember using Nebula with the Roomhunters release. They sampled a room and diffrent mics in different positions and the result was good, but Pianoteq seems to do the same kind of things with more precision and less CPU. </p><p>But with Pianoteq you can only process the sound coming out of Pianoteq. So I was wondering if you guys knew a vst with this kind of simulation (mic position, mic type) but for mixing wav files in DAW. You would put virtual mics in front of 2 virtual speakers in a virtual room. If it sounds as good as Pianoteq does, I would be amazing. Or maybe Modartt could do a FX version of Pianoteq and you could use this mic thing as an effect.<br />What do you think?<br />Cheers</p>]]></content>
