This must be a problem with your keyboard? Does its built-in sounds show a similar problem, or is it just a midi controller? I had a very similar problem on my RD700NX (PHA-III keys). In this case it was a problem related to failing contacts in the key sensors. It was still under 3 year warranty, and I got the entire contact board replaced (great service from Roland). If it wasn't for that, I would have opened it up and tried repairing myself.

So just out of the blue recently I started having some problems with the E below middle C. When I play it, it either jumps to the highest velocity, or doesn't play at all.

Not one other note is having this issue, and it's up to date with downloads and what not.

Any one else suffered from this? Highly frustrating.
