But, I now seriously doubt that the sound is from the Vox, for two reasons:
a) I discovered on a competitor's web site (thus no link ;^) that some people actually think the sound is from a Hammond B3 organ.
b) I can actually hear what sounds like the typical B3 key-click sound.
Listening to a demo of the Vox here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9xc5nh5kw8 I do not hear the keyclick. (I hear the mechanical noise of the keys, but that's different)
I don't know much about organs at all, but if the keyclick sound in that Monkees video is indicative of a tone-wheel organ, then I do suspect it's a tone wheel organ of some type, if it's not the B3.

Thanks for posting this. I went to Soundcloud, where he has a note saying that he recorded it without effects and then applied outboard effects to the recording. I wrote a comment pointing him to this forum and asked what effects he used. Let's hope that he responds--his note says that he was using a compressor and EQ and more.
]]>I really like the idea of modeled instead of sampled. The main reason I've not used a VST piano live up to this point is because of the huge sample libraries. Obviously this is a game changer. Runs like a charm on my 2009 Macbook Pro/Yamaha KX-88 and 2007 Sonar DAW.
