Until now I was using AKG K99 which is entry level headphones and I was not quite sure about buying PT, it just didn't sound right to me. Then after reading good reviews on forums I decided to get HD 598 and all I can say is WOW. It just sound so great that I bought Pianoteq about one hour later. I am using D4 with basic Daily practise preset (have stage version for now).
So please if you are in similar situation as I was , do borrow some good headphones and then make your decision.
One question - I prefer stereo preset to binaural, which seems to me little strange (no stereo effect at all). Is there any way how to adjust stereo effect in PT ?
