Me too. Coupled with cheap M Audio Expression pedal.
If and when the pedal pops it's clogs I'll just get another one, or look to replace the pot inside.
It developed a dead spot, but owing to where it was positioned I was able to use the the midi expression software to adjust for it. I just have slightly less travel now.

I purchased the EX2M so that my Yamaha FC7 expression pedal could be used with Bias FX 2 (from Positive Grid) within Logic Pro X on my iMac.
It is working great!

The new member manoreken2 used a standard Arduino Uno board and a Roland RPU-3 pedal set (good/fair reputation for quality/reliability).
I don't think the project would be all THAT hard, but rounding up parts could take time.
The Arduino is reasonably simple to set up and program - even I managed to do it for a 3D printer that I built last year.

I would like it if someone would set up a part time workshop to MAKE a few of these - hint, HINT !!!
For a fair price it would save me a lot of runaround looking for parts.

If you're handy with basic electronics and soldering, you can build your own. This product will enable you to convert a number of continuous controllers or switches. You'd have to buy an enclosure, jacks, wires etc.

This pedal is a bit cramped but works - it comes with software to assign each button to any CC - program it and then use it. $79 on amazon I believe.

I used it here http://chrisvaisvil.com/and-the-world-s...olo-video/ as the sustain pedal with a Korg microkey 61 in 24 notes per octave tuning.

I imagine if you are handy with a soldering iron you could add (or replace the momentary switches) with 1/4" jacks and use a 3 inexpensive faux piano sustain pedals.

However, it appears to cost $130 which is pricey enough that you might as well buy something like a
Behringer FCB1010 MIDI Foot Controller with Two Expression Pedals (lots of other possibilities for multi pedel USB devices) which is not much more.

Anyway, at least in linux it would be easy to use such a pedal with pianoteq - simply connect both your keyboard midi output and the pedal midi output to pianoteq (using Jack). (of course you'd have to configure the pedal to output whatever controller data to control what you want to control)
