Another good idea would be also translate pianoteq's manual to spanish.

Perhaps (I don't really know) you could make a very detailed and polished vídeo demonstration in Spanish about pianoteq, for youtube, and get some discont to buy.

Agreed about the discounts/promotions, i'd really see myself buying some add-ons if so....

but i think Modartt should concentrate on piano/keyboard instruments. This is what they do, and they're AWESOME at it. It's not too hard to get a realistic sounding drum kit from samples, if you use them well. Cymblas are the hard part, especially ride cymbals, but it's definitely doable. As for stringed instruments like any kind of guitar, bass, (solo) violin, etc.... these are just impossible to synthesize realistically. The expression of hands touching the strings is just too subtle to be replicated by -useable- software.

Thank you for your comments on my music; To my disgrace, I use reason with reason pianos. I'd love to stop using windows forever. The only things that keep me in Windows are Reason and Live.

I am desperately waiting for BitWig to come out. Also, Pianoteq would be one of the things I'd use a lot.

About the drum samples, I would beg to disagree with you strongly. Phantom notes are impossible with samples. Besides, drum libraries are limited and HUGE in size. Also, they try to give you some variation using multisamples, but, hey; I don't wanna use 8 GB of RAM on multisamples!

IMHO, drums should be the first thing Pianoteq should  take on as an expansion of their stuff. They're, already, kind of at it with the steel drums samples and all that.

The good thing about pianos is that they have everything: they're percussive and string-based instruments. IMHO, they already tackled the hardest. They, surely, can do a great job synthetizing string-based instruments.
