Thanks John, that's just what I needed. Much better now.

Do you know if it's possible to vary this response throughout the range? I find that it's still a bit fierce on the bass if I get it to damp the treble enough? I have to admit that each acoustic piano is different here.

On the Pianoteq display window there is a keyboard velocity map towards the bottom left. If you click on the arrow at the top right or left of this map you can access a similar map labelled 'Pedal'. This will enable you to adjust the partial pedalling response.

I'm using the trial version of Pianoteq (4.5.1 if it makes any difference).
