Ok, I'm using a M-Audio Keystation USB.
I'm testing it with MIDI-OX and every control(volume/pitch bend/modulation) works fine.
So I'm guessing I have to assingn a control button for the sustain pedal on the keyboard, because now I do not have a MIDI pedal.

Question is: how?

Try testing your MIDI input with MIDIOX: if it doesn't receive sustain pedal messages, that's where your problem lies.

But this problem persist even when I use Pianoteq in standalone mode...

If I export a wave file, played with the sustain pedal on by using Pianoteq as standalone the result is the same: the track result completely flat...

this is most probably a Cubase thing: you're filtering MIDI data in some way.

Hi there!

I've got a huge problem with the sustain pedal and other features of this vst.
I'm using Pianoteq 2.3 on Cubase sx5: if I play some parts with the sustain pedal down, when I export a mixdown of what I've just played, the sustain simply is not there and the track sound completely flat.
This happens also when I try to listen what I've recorded (on Cubase as vst or when I use it as standalone): even if the pedal is "on", if I pause and start again the track, all features active, such as the sustain or the reverb ecc, are completely silent...

I'm surely doin'something in the wrong way...

Please help me 'cause I'm very close to an important recording session and I need to solve this problem really quickly!
