I'm not with the ES-7 anymore. But I tried turn the keyboard on and off, to see if it get right.

Strange, no, insupportable! Ordinarily my first guess would be to suspect Windows' Directsound of one of its evils, but before that now, try this (I just did it). Get up your Pianoteq FIRST, and THEN turn on the (cold-connected) ES7.

I tried on 3 different midi ports, If I remamber well.
Pianoteq stand alone was using asio4all, 11,5ms, and adjusted to all midi imputs.

The USB cable was new from the package, bought a day earlier.

Strange...

I have an ES7, took no action bar connecting Windows laptop and piano via USB, and that functions. The Pianoteq installation was unremarkable, the laptop 64-bit.

Maybe should add, the laptop has suffered a crash, been refurbished, and is almost unpopulated by other software.

Hi folks
Maybe someone who have Kawai piano could help me about connect Kawai models to pianoteq via pure USB cable.

I tried to connect pianoteq pro in aKawai Ca-65 and a ES-7. But despite pianoteqbesetto all midi in ports, Kawai did not work as controller.
ES-7 manual said windows-XP do not require Kawai's driver to work by USB MIDI.

Any tips about how to solve that?
