Strange... I could swear that there was a trick postedin this forum to change the mic angle...

That feature is in widespread use across Windows at least, and has this use and that at different times. It wouldn't confuse many, so why remove it? It's a way of getting different organisation to your lookups, and handy.

Open the preset manager, and in the preset list, click on the 'instrument' list header in order to sort by instrument instead of sorting by name, that way the preset list (and the menu) will be as expected.

We will probably remove this "feature" in a future version as it is more confusing than useful , I guess

I run Pianoteq on 2 different computers. On one the "Instrument" menu (used to select the instrument to play D4 Classical, etc) has a hierarchical menu grouped by instrument types. One the other computer I get a giant panel listing all instrument presets at once. I prefer the hierarchical menu style, but cannot figure out how to switch. This difference has persisted across several Pianoteq versions. I just upgraded to 4.2.1 and still have the same menu style. I have looked all over the menus but cannot figure out where the menu style is controlled. Thanks.
