			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Raspberry Pi PWM audio output is limited to 11 bits of depth at 48kHz. Afaik this means a rather limited dynamic range. Detail and nuance will be lost. Now, with software as advanced as Pianoteq, that would probably mean a waste of good software. Of course it depends on your intended market, but if I were Pianoteq management, and I were to bring out a hardware/software integrated product it would have to be first class.</p><p>(There are other hw requirements as well, that makes the RPi an unlikely candidate)</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hi all,</p><p>sorry i&#039;ve been AWOL (you probably don&#039;t remember me) but life has had its tricks and turns and i&#039;m struggling to fit music in my life again O_o</p><p>Raspberry Pi is a small, inexpensive low-power open source hardware computer.&nbsp; &nbsp;I know it looks underpowered, but Pianoteq doesn&#039;t need RAM or HDD space or massive IO, it just needs a processor.&nbsp; And the Raspberry Pi has a pretty powerful GPU:<br /><a href="http://www.androidauthority.com/raspberry-pi-gpu-is-twice-as-powerful-as-the-iphone-4s-gpu-47842/">http://www.androidauthority.com/raspber...gpu-47842/</a></p><p>I was wondering if the Modartt team has looked into developing code to make use of the Raspberry Pi&#039;s GPU for sound modelling?&nbsp; More than an experiment, if it could work, then Modartt could market a complete hardware/software solution for little more than the base cost of the software.</p>]]></content>
