You can play it as a real piano with the only limit of 49 keys and 10 fingers
So, yes, you will be able to play chords

Please pardon what may be an inquiry into an issue you find to be fairly obvious.

When I purchase this MIDI controller and the program will it still be the case that I will not be able to play chords--only single notes? Or, conversely, is it true to say that by using the program with a MIDI keyboard I will then have polyphonic capability?

Any MIDI controller can be used with Pianoteq. You don't really need the virtual keyboard

Why don't you download the demo before purchase, and try everything out?

Before I purchase the program I would like to know if it would work with the Line 6 keyboard controller--in lieu of using the virtual keyboard on my computer screen. Is this possible? The Line 6 link is above...

Not in the way you've described, but yes, you can resize the interface in Pianoteq 4. It's in the manual

Is there a way to enlarge the window to 'large', 'extra large', etc. without losing the keyboard below the bottom 'horizon' of the screen?

For example, if it were possible to close or minimize 'voicing', 'design', 'output', etc., then the keyboard would move upward into view.

There is a Line 6 Mobile Keys 49-key controller that I would like to purchase if it would work in conjunction with the Pianoteq program. Would it?
