			<description><![CDATA[<p>Well, maybe this is not new to most of you, but for those who are interested here&#039;s a little configuration trick especially suitable for live gigs. The &quot;problem&quot; I was faced with that I liked to add amp-distortion to the EP using a slider but I also liked to turn this effect off using also that same slider. A solution is a slider-configuration that will turn off the effect below a threshold. Above that threshold the slider controls the amount of Drive.<br />To achieve this add the controller twice; once as Effect switch and once as Param 1 control. The default configuration (in the example it is configured for Controller 7) is shown in the following image. The only problem is that the on-off point is reached halfway the slider.</p><p><span class="postimg"><img src="http://www.imprazz.com/img/im1.jpg" alt="http://www.imprazz.com/img/im1.jpg" title="http://www.imprazz.com/img/im1.jpg"/></span></p><p>To change the on-off point to a low threshold simply click in the left part of the Effect 3 switch, the part saying &quot;Off&quot;. While depressing the mouse button a yellow bar is shown and &quot;Off&quot; changes to &quot;On&quot;. While depressing, move the mouse to the left just before &quot;On&quot; changes back to &quot;Off&quot; again. The result will look like:</p><p><span class="postimg"><img src="http://www.imprazz.com/img/im2.jpg" alt="http://www.imprazz.com/img/im2.jpg" title="http://www.imprazz.com/img/im2.jpg"/></span></p><p>Now the slider behaves like a on/off switch for low values and as soon it is on, it controls the amount of Drive (well in my configuration).</p>]]></description>
