Here's an idea to try which opens New Horizons of Beauty.

Running Pianoteq as a plug-in (inside any Host Program), it is possible to open two instances of Pianoteq.  By routing MIDI signals through one and into the other, they can both play simultaneously.

Set the first instance to the Graf Forte-Piano (in the Historical Instruments Free Add-on).

Set the second instance to the Blanchet Harpsichord (in the same Free Add-on).  Set the Harpsichord to A=440, same as Graf.  By default, both use Werkmeister III tuning, which is fine.

Now we have a remarkable combined voice.  When played softly, the Harpsichord sound prevails.  When played loudly, the Forte-Piano sound prevails, but the sparkle of the Harpsichord remains clearly audible.

The Sustain Pedal works well with both sets, and the Harmonic Pedal is also a pleasing effect (lifting dampers on all strings EXCEPT those being played, which damp normally when released).  I set the Harmonic Pedal "on" with one MIDI-input and "off" with another, so it can easily stay locked on while playing.

The combined voice gives the brilliance of the Harpsichord and the fullness of the Forte-Piano, with full dynamic expression.  I think that composers from Bach through Mozart would have given their eye-teeth to get such a sound on any instrument!
