It's apparently "Loopbe", maybe without the capital; as it appears without one in a graphic that seems to have been part of Niclas' (?) post. So Search on both.

Added: on "loopbe1" I found this http://www.forum-pianoteq.com/viewtopic.php?id=1626 , which is IT. Adding that "1" made all the difference.

More: decided I'd use it. The writer says it's a 'cable'. Very well, suppose it can be a cable from some playlist player to Pianoteq, what then? So I looked up Winamp, and turns out it has ambition to do everything, bar stuff under DRM. It comes either free or Pro, so I went Pro ($20). At first sight Its Output Preference looks only to handle audio, so it appears using Winamp with LoopBe1 is at a stymie, no go. But poking around somewhere it turns out Preferences > Input > Nullsoft Midi Player > Configure does the trick, now LoopBe1
(previously installed) shows up. Chose it. Now opened Pianoteq > Options > Devices. LoopBe1 shows up there too (though simply leaving Listen to all Inputs chosen is sufficient), so the cabling's done. Except that on my Windows 7 64bit, I  find I have to desert ASIO, revert to DirectSound. No loss, for a Midi Jukebox latency doesn't matter.

As to playlisting in Winamp, with the skin I got the list maker is on the right side under the Menustrip, a small black box with small buttons underneath. The buttons let you assemble save and load playlists.

With one in place, hit Play and it plays thru.

Someone else wanted the exact same back when, and Nicolas (I think it was) proposed a method. Give it a Search, here.

but actually I found that I have already asked for this feature in 2010. My memory is very selective, and probably this was removed from my "internal cache", at least something is to be said for consistency ... :-)

I think this would be very useful - I too load a midi file and play it while I do my other work.

I'd also like to be able to load several midi files in a cue (like a 10 CD player) that would last for an hour or two.

Often I put pianoteq in the background and play some midi files through it while I do other stuff on the PC (e.g.  just work), or play it myself while reading music from PDF.

Problem is when I switch windows, I'd rather not see PTQ's large window hinder my screen.
It would be cool if pianoteq had a minimized view - e.g. a small floating bar like Winamp, so that it could be kept up in the corner of the screen without interfering, while giving minimal features:

1) Selecting Preset
2) Volume
3) Midi player / recorder buttons
4) Open midi file
5) Maximize to normal view

Anybody sympathizing with this?
