On my Dual 2 GHz G5 Mac, the midi file will not play (in Logic anyway) without overloading the audio engine.  I rendered the final audio to avoid that problem.

As an exercise, I played the midi file through NI's Akoustik Piano.  Didn't sound very good, but there was no problem with the playback—obviously there is a LOT less going on this case behind the scenes.

The MIDI file will look strange on a sequencer, the music doesn't line up with the barline structure, as it was recorded 'free', just set the playback to 120 bpm and it will be recognizable.

In the Logic environment, the Stereo Delay is an insert in the main Stereo Out.

In Logic, of course, the Pianoteq EQ settings are Flat, and the Reverb is off, as there are onboard facilities for these.

Thanks for the interest in these files, the performance is a little rough but enough to get the idea of what I had in mind.

Maybe I'll have a go at a sweet modern-grand for Mozart (but don't ask me to play anything!!)
