Thanks for your answers, is good to have an official confirmation. Ty for everything Philippe, pianoteq is a dream and Modartt as a company is very classy. I also hope you can remake the old pianos in the new model at full, or maybe make a new one based on a bosendorfer, I actually hope you are doing that at this very moment hehe.

If you are right, and I supose you are based on what Niclas told me about 2 months ago, I imagine a rework, refurbish of Pleyel, Erard and Bechstein, to include the new soundboard, would be very welcome.

But I fear the work would be hard, if the new soundboard require rework almost the entire piano again. At least they already have the recording and notes from the real pianos that is the basic to create a add on.

This is correct Gilles. In complement, the K1 and the YC5 have been equipped with new bass strings.

D4 was created using the new model. The others were created with the previous model and simply ported to version 4 with very few changes (new reverb mostly). The analysis done with the new soundboard model gives much more detailed results, if I'm correct. If not, Philippe can correct me...

I find the leap of D4 is bigger than the other pianos like K1 or M1, etc. The D4 is a big improvement while I find the change smaller in the other ones. When I load them on Pianoteq 4, they are closer to pianoteq 3 while the D4 is in his own league, why is that?
