I managed to get sympathetic resonance working across splits using Cantabile. The workaround is to map any velocity to 0 for all notes that aren't in the current active split. I chained Velocity Curve and Channel Map to achieve this.

In my example, I have 2 splits: C5 through below, C#5 through above.

The lower section is on Rack 1 Slot 1 and the upper section is on Rack 2 Slot 1.

My first section has the lower section having mapped to channel 1 and the upper section to channel 2.

I created Velocity Curve map to create 0 velocity levels at any input for channel 2 (upper), then chained it to Channel Map mapping channel 2 to channel 1 to feed pianoteq lower split instance with velocity 0 for upper section.

I did the same for the other split instance.

Here's the cantabile file: http://www.forum-pianoteq.com/uploads.p....cantabile

It requires Erard ptq and it requires Pianoteq22.dll to be in this folder: C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Vstplugins\Pianoteq 2.2

Edit: I added a demo on how this cantabile project sound like: http://www.forum-pianoteq.com/uploads.p...0Debby.mp3

Hope this is useful.

--- Abi
