Hi,

The plug is a standard size, so that shouldn't be an issue. Also, as long as you get the voltage right, and of course the polarity, you can use an adapter with higher amperage than is asked for in the specs. I believe the specs ask for 500mA, so you can use that, or anything over that also. To feel confident about this, just ask any electronics guy.

Just to add to Joe's reply, there's a fine detail in the specs which may be important. It says that the power source should be "stabilized", and I assume that's the same thing as "regulated". I recommend that you use a regulated plug pack (regulated plug packs are readily available, but may cost slightly more than unregulated)

Hello N,

While I do not own one, I performed a Google Search on the Studiologic SL-990 Pro's power requirements. The Fatar site quoted 9V DC and 500milliamps. Hope this helps.

Hi! I have a Fatar Studiologic SL-990 Pro(not the xp) that I have not used for years. I have been searching through my stuff to find the power supply, but have not found anything that totally matches up with the specs on the sticker on the keyboard. That said, I did find a power supply that if memory serves me, is the one that came with the keyboard, but it doesn't match up with the specs.
