What attracted me Pianoteq was not only its amazing modeling, but also that it actually implements microtuning.

Good microtonal music—music in tuning systems that 'break' common practice theory in some way—is even more rare than microtonally-capable synthesizers. What microtonal music is being made using Pianoteq that people recommend?

One of the few concert pianists interested in microtonality is Aron Kallay. On this page (http://aronkallay.com/Media/Pianist/Pianist.html) the works by Ben Johnston and Kyle Gann use extended just intonation tunings, and were performed using Pianoteq.

Chris Vaisvil is a prolific improviser and composer in the Indianapolis area, whom I've hosted in Champaign-Urbana several times. On his site (http://chrisvaisvil.com/) there are a number of works which use Pianoteq microtonally, accompanied by a stunning variety of compositional and technical techniques.

I know it can be a big hump to get past hearing microtonal music as being 'out of tune' and to start hearing it as 'new ways to be IN tune'. But I hope my music and other microtonal music can be friendly introductions.
