In actual fact, Modartt have done an exceptional job on creating the realism of the hammer travel and return phases. Extremely realistic. You can almost feel those hammers going in and out of phase (you can certainly hear them!!!). This is the reason you have to practice more on repetitions on a piano than on say, a harsi/clavi chord etc..

p.s. the seperation is better now that I have shortened the damper duration. I will post a more polished version in the near future (when I've practiced somewhat!!!)

I do need to practice repetitions Joshua.
And yes, I was very heavy on the keys!!!

Practice.

And you must have the Nero on an extremely light touch setting, or it's still got that MIDI velocity 127 hiccup... or you intentionally pound the hell outta the downbeat!

Repetions played on NUMA Nero reveal variations in separation and articulation of repetitions between different PianoTeq models. (see above link)

You will notice in the mp3 file (link) that there is much better separation and articulation with the Grimaldi than with the K1. I appreciate that this is because on a piano, hammers are heavier, have a different return and phase rate etc.. But I would like to achieve similar separation and articulation on the various piano models as on the harpsichords etc..

Modartt, may we have the option to adjust repetition response for all models please. I for one would be very grateful. In actual fact, I didn't realise my Nero was so good at repetitions until I repeated on the harpsichords.
