It  was a  silly  error by myself.....i checked  the Microphons  again.....and,

uuuuups,    there have been   2 Micros  kongruent  one about the other, that means,
i seen  only  2,  but have been   4....))

And - -by this  real  good  programming this issue by Pianoteq - 2 Sounds overlapping - and making this  ugly sound.  Very impressive for  me  - how  realistic  Pianoteq is)))

And - again it shows:   99 % of  PC-Problems  are caused by the user itself))

Ok - who can describe  the reasons for this effect?  Are my Loudspeakers too  direct??

The built-in limiter is not the best...I don't think they do any type of oversampling, so it can sound harsh when it kicks in.

The best thing to do (that I have found) is to lower the main volume and limiter gain, and play something relatively loud so that you are just hitting the red on the meter. Now adjust the threshold of the limiter so that it is just starting to limit near the peak (and you don't see red anymore, but a blue line indicating limiting).

Here are the settings I have in one preset called "Intimate":

(Main)
Volume = -3db
Dynamics = 40db

(Limiter)
Threshold = -1.68db
Sharpness = 0.87
Gain = -1.59db

The "Sharpness" control is described as controlling the "zone" (area around peaks) for limiting, so you might experiment with this.

I never noticed anything "bad" when playing higher notes louder.

On CD  also the higher Registers of a Piano sounding everytime very clear , nice and
pleasant.

If i play my Pianoteq  only a little bit louder,  the higher tones become easy nasty.

I tried a lot with  changing the position of my Loudspeakers,  and also  with the mics in the Pianoteq-Software.

Clearly,  the Reverb should not to be to much.....but, for example - in the  C3Early-Jazz this  nasty Touch  stays to be nasty  -  also , if i switched off  the Reverb.
On the  C3Worn_out   this effect  starts later - much more  Loudness is necassary before this  "nasty"  sound begins to start  than on the  Early-Jazz.

It sounds  like  a  nasty Echo, or like a Resonanze....its difficult to describe.....its very nasty in my Ears.

Do you sometimes have also this feeling??  Some Notes in the  higher Registers  sounding nasty,  like a  nasty  Resonanze??

What can i do - what is the reason for this  effect??

I just tried:
- Equalizier  (reducing the highe frequenzies...but the general sound suffers by this..)
- Position of  the mics
- switch off the reverb...much more better - but it´s pitty, to play without  Reverb
- Turning  the Loudspeaker  180 Degrades   , against the wall.....also  much more
   better ,  but than it sounds, like you would play the piano behind this wall.))
- on the adjustments  i not changed something....mostly  it sounds not better to   
    change there something.....

Are the higher tones on a real Piano  more "diffus"  than hearing  dirctly played on
a  amplifier??

Why this effect  never is noticeable  in listening  CD  ?
