Hi there,

I am new to the computer music community. My main instrument is a guitar in the Nick Drake style. Anyway, I have started creating music compositions, instrumentals only. A little bit film soundtrack, a little bit sigur ros and little bit Nick Drake. I am looking for a good piano sound and have about £1500 to play with. Thought about a good quality digi piano but also considering virtual piano because I want to add other sounds and it makes it easier to get ideas recorded. I will probably be getting cubase 5, vienna strings (for violin) a Doepfer PK88 and now thinking about piano software. Really drawn to PianoTeq because I dont want to get an external harddisk, like I would with my other consideration Steinberg Grand 3 and I like the other instruments provided, such as celesta and CP80.
Also considering Nord Piano 88 (expensive though)
If anyone has any better recommendations then that would be great.
Kind regards and merry christmas all.
