Great playing on a so-so instrument, which makes it even greater...this is really a study for the left hand as I see.

I guess YouTube sends automatic warnings because this being a Chopin anniversary year, a lot of people might be tempted to upload dvd versions of commercial recordings.

Maybe this is off topic, but I wonder about the copyright law in USA. I uploaded a video to You tube yesterday with me playing Chopin Revolutionary etude (Op.10 Nr. 12) and I was really surprised when I got the message that it might have copyright protected material in it... They haven't stopped it but, anyway....

The message I received was:

Upphovsrättsinformation: Chopin Revolotionsetyden Op10 Nr12
Ditt videoklipp, Chopin Revolotionsetyden Op10 Nr12 , innehåller eventuellt material som ägs eller licensieras av dessa rättsfigurer:
Rättsfigur: Music Publishing Rights Collecting Society Innehållstyp: Musikkomposition

(I have a Swedish account on Youtube).

I can "fight" the copyright claim (I don't know if thats the right words in English) but than I need to know if this piece is "public domain" even in USA...

(If you want to see the video you can do that here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plgNMJelNcg)

Thank You and God Bless!!!
