			<description><![CDATA[<p>I&#039;ve always liked the sound you get when halving the pitch of sampled pianos. So I tried it with Pianoteq. To my delight it sounds fab when you adjust the diapason setting to 220hz and transpose the midi notes up an octave.</p><p>It almost sounds like my old upright, especially with a bit of unison width added in for good measure.</p><p>Of course, you lose an octave at the upper end in the process, but it&#039;s a small price to pay for having a slightly different sound to play with.</p><p>Has anyone else messed around with the pitch at this lower setting, and do they like the sound?</p>]]></description>
