I had a terrible time with AKAI mpk 49

checked some M-audios etc. (all of them allmost as bad as AKAI)

Now I got this brand new Cakewalk (Roland) A-500 PRO and I must say that for the moment I have absolutely nothing bad things to say about it (well... maybe it's not as sexy looking as AKAI, but you can't have everything.. ). Touch is good (for my fingers it's the BEST of all those "empty" midi controllers; in fact it's very close to Roland's flagship synths), its velocity scale is nice and you can modify it (even piano feels OK), price is very reasonable, installation had no problems at all...
