<![CDATA[Modartt user forum - Does verson 2.2 have more partials than 2.1?]]> 2007-12-26T00:15:46Z PunBB https://forum.modartt.com/viewtopic.php?id=150 <![CDATA[Re: Does verson 2.2 have more partials than 2.1?]]> Not sure whether this is relevant, but the recent add-ons (S Erard, Bechstein, Blanchet) do sound brighter and clearer than the earlier emulations to me.  Also, I get the impression that there is more ambience built in to the raw sound - i.e - even when I completely dial out global harp resonance and turn off the reverb, the sound seems to have some natural ambience. If I'm right about this, I think this helps.

I'm really enjoying S Erard in particular - what a little winner this is!
