As a quick off the topic question if you don't mind, have you figured a way to minimize the Yamaha pedal's squeaking noises. Both of my Yamaha pedals drive me nuts with that.

I have one too (FC3) and I added some more lubricant inside (common petroleum jelly) and I think I bended a small piece of the action a little, but I can't remember which...It's much better now than when I bought it. I also have a much older on/off pedal with my P80, and it doesn't squeak at all now. I think the squeaking goes away with time. Be patient...and play a lot!

Of course I use headphones so I hear it less.

No Michael, I haven't, sorry!

I got a smart paint technician to black lacquer one of my Yamaha FP3 foot pedals as a test piece. he's coming to see the CP33 to see if he can do that too! (and the other pedal!)
