Hi, cannot replicate.
On a laptop, that I usually don't use for audio, I installed temporarily Pianoteq Free Trial 9.3.0. Running Debian kernel linux-image-6.12.113+deb13-amd64. Onboard audiointerface ALC269VB driven directly per ALSA, 48000 Hz, 128 samples. Default preset is NY Steinway D Classical and I simply started the Preset demo song.

Sounds perfectly.

Then I updated and rebooted to the recent kernel linux-image-6.12.115+deb13.1-amd64 and repeated the same demo.

Same result. No problems.

I hope you can isolate it.

Actually, that's very unusual. I'd also had problems with the DAC after upgrading to a new kernel.
My solution was to keep using the old one and wait for the next upgrade. Now I only use the Liquorix kernel,
and it's working pretty well for me. (I checked my settings with Millisecond)

Hello,

I have sound issues after upgrading my Debian box to kernel 6.12.115: all my piano instruments sounds like horns and very noisy. Same issue with and without RT kernel. Same issue with and without cpupower (Performance/Governor).

No issue if I boot with previous kernel 6.12.113

Anyone experiencing same issue?

Would be great to have some feedback from Linux users.
