I want to highlight this beautiful Rubinstein music here in Recordings because it was uploaded only in Shared files a long time ago, with Organteq 1, sounding great in this music.   People liked this one and I was satisfied with voicing the organ and how my playing was fitting for it. Description

Composed in 1852, the Melody in F was published as the first piece in Rubinstein's 2 Mélodies (Op. 3). It is written in a standard AABABA-coda structure and is played at a Moderato assai tempo. The original solo piano composition features a distinct texture where the melody is passed back and forth between the right and left-hand thumbs.

Legacy

Though Anton Rubinstein was an incredibly prolific composer—writing 20 operas and serving as Tchaikovsky's composition teacher—it is this short character piece that secured his enduring popularity.
