			<description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Dietrich Buxtehude</strong> (1637-707) needs no introduction — he was a Danish organist and composer of the Baroque era, whose works are typical of the North German organ school. Buxtehude&#039;s style of composition had a great influence on other composers, such as <strong>Johann Sebastian Bach</strong> and <strong>George Frideric Handel</strong>. Buxtehude is considered one of the most important composers of the 17th century.</p><p><em><strong>Buxtehude</strong> is known primarily for his organ compositions.
