I think one of the true joys of playing the piano is the ability to perform not only pieces written specifically for the instrument, but also works originally composed for other arrangements, including full orchestras.

Recently, on a whim, I decided to try playing a piece from one of Mozart’s operas. I was absolutely amazed by how such a rich, profound world could be vividly painted with so few notes.

While I struggled to fully capture that world and can't say I entirely succeeded, I truly believe that having Pianoteq was absolutely essential for the expression I was chasing. If I had been using any other piano library, I might have given up without dedicating this much time to bringing the piece to life.

It's incredible how much emotion can be conveyed through a minimalist arrangement.

Because, you said you ”struggled to fully capture that world” and have to say you succeeded well.

I think the key to your success here was the tempo—the speed. I’ve listened to people singing this, and they perform the music quite slowly—adagio. With your faster tempo, you brought the music to life; I got a new, positive feeling about the piece.
It brings  joy, pleasure, and charm to the piece in a new way.

Despite the fact that "O Isis und Osiris" is a solemn, deeply reverent prayer sung by the high priest Sarastro in Act II of Mozart's Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute) and that the music describes a mood of profound wisdom, divine protection,  you took this music to a new level.
