Ok continuous. As I wrote before pianoteq tells me it's just on/off, and it's not. It's connected to my master keyboard. So I am trying to understand if pianoteq reads it wrong because the pedal is 'before' my keyboard, and what do I have to do to use the half pedal. Other sampling libraries I have tell me the same thing, it's on/off, so I assume it's because it's connected to my keyboard and this doesn't support half pedal, for the half pedal function.

So I wonder if there's a simple interface that I can connect my pedal to, and go through USB on my mac and bypass the keyboard entirely in regard to half pedal, and then set up that interface in pianoteq.

hello, I haven't bought pianoteq yet, so far my korg ds1h soft pedal isn't working with my master keyboard, an alesis coda digital piano. Pianoteq says I am using a standard pedal (which isn't really true). From what I understand my keyboard doesn't support soft pedal. What do I need to do? I am on a mac. Is there a low cost midi interface with the right inputs, and if so what is that?

Quite frankly I am disappointed at how pianoteq just seems to say: it doesn't work, end of story. Anyways, I am willing to give this a shot, if it's too involved I'll probably leave it as I practice and record a lot, don't have much time to fiddle with complicated setups
