Awesome Performance Budo !! Woody Shaw’s music is so profound, and you did a fantastic job capturing the essence of 'Blues for Wood.' Those subtle substitutions really give the F blues that unmistakable Shaw flavor, and your solo piano arrangement brings it out beautifully.

5th bigger very nice captivating
7th nice with the high notes
good ending - like a surprise with those sudden ending chords”pretty much an F blues” yes, good music
BUT
I liked the Pee Wee more.
It seems like more is happening and I am drawn into the pleasure. The chords and your performance enchant me, I enjoyed that piece 110%.I always enjoy your music but of course there are differences where you like one song a little more than another.

thank you again Stig for listening and your comments! yes this is quite different from Pee Wee. it doesn't feel like it could be a classical piece at all, whereas maybe Pee Wee has some kind of relation to solo piano music like Scriabin, Ravel, ... perhaps that is a factor. i totally understand where you're coming from
