Pachelbel also composed about 90 outstanding vocal and vocal-instrumental works, mainly of a religious nature, such as cantatas, motets and sacred arias, as well as the famous vocal Magnificat.

The recording of Bach's Fugue, made by user Pianoteqenthusiast, reminded me of a series of other harpsichords on Pianoteq that I'd forgotten existed :-)
I'll be using these newly discovered, old instruments in future recordings.
This time, I'm featuring the Italian harpsichord by G. Giusti again in a piece by Johann Pachelbel (usually associated with organ music, not harpsichord). In this recording, I used four different timbres from this instrument.

This is a wonderful choice Piotr! You're completely right—Pachelbel is so often overshadowed by his organ works, so it’s incredibly refreshing to hear his music brought to life on the harpsichord. The way you utilized four different timbres from the Giusti really showcases the versatility of the instrument and keeps the textures engaging throughout the piece. It’s amazing how a change in registration can bring out completely new colors in this repertoire.
