Once in a while, requests for new piano models pop up in this forum. Here is my wish list.
When I bought my VPC1 it came with velocity curves for Ravenscroft, Alicias keys etc. This is why I have a Ravenscroft VST and Alicias Keys as VST. And than many more, largely from NI.
Also Pianoreq I bought because there was a curve deliverd with the VPC1 Editor. Maybe otherwise I would have never heard about pianoteq.
But with pianoteq, my piano practice has become very exiting. I could pick a Piano and a preset that did sit well with what I tried to learn. That choice added exitement and motivation to keep going. And there is a hughe appetite to have more choices.
And, allready having a Ravenscroft VST - I want a Ravenscroft Piano Model in Pianoteq.
NIs Claire is said to be based on a Fazioli - I want a Fazioli Piano Model in Pianoteq.
Because having these fine Instruments behaving like the real thing, just like all the other Models available, seems to be so much better than triggering pre-recorded samples.
And, from looking at former posts asking for Fazioli (and I think even Ravenscroft was mentioned sometimes) I am in good company wishing our choices to expand.

If it is possible to make the physical model even better than it is today, I think I would update (even if CPU load does increase).
But adding a Fazioli and a Ravenscroft Instrument will make me update for shure!
