Corelli wrote works for solo violin, for string trio and for chamber orchestra. His six opuses include only 48 trio sonatas, 12 concerti grossi, three quartet sonatas and a sinfonia, a total of 65 works.
Antonio Vivaldi, Georg Philipp Telemann, Giuseppe Tartini, Bach and Sergei Rachmaninov have paid tribute to him in their own works based on his ideas.

This Corelli piece is magnificent, I wasn't familiar with it.
Every now and then I open some of Corelli's piano transcriptions and play them with passion, even though I've never studied them in depth.
