After checking in with Modartt Support it was confirmed that my laptop was not likely to be capable of supporting the whole range of Organteq sounds, confirming that I was having the same kind of problem that Pianoteqenthusiast had with the earlier PC, I recognised the need to replace my laptop to support live use (probably not until the second quarter of 2026), and connected up my i9 Tower PC which solved all issues so far. This seems to more than cover the requirement:
 Processor 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900K (3.20 GHz)
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.7 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Thanks too to an enjoyable discussion with Modartt Support.

My next step is to reduce the Volume to -30 but surely this should not be necessary? I have low-noise amplifiers to add to low-noise active speakers if this (or lower) must really be the Volume setting.
