That's why I move it a little on the right.. Anyway you have to be very soft and the headroom for the threshold is very very small

]]> Mon, 22 Mar 2010 22:41:49 +0000 https://forum.modartt.com/viewtopic.php?pid=10869#p10869 https://forum.modartt.com/viewtopic.php?pid=10820#p10820 I reported my Yamaha KX8 as Velocity = [0, 112; 4, 127].  I've found no other reports that have anything other than a zero in the second grouping where I have a "4".  I got that because I raised the first node -lowest velocity- upward instead of sliding it to the right.  This way I could just get an audible "soft" output from Pianoteq from the softest strike I could make on the keyboard that would still register a velocity output.  The ending node I slid to the left where I found a point at which hitting the keyboard "pretty darn hard but keeping in mind what I paid for it" would output the full 127 velocity value of Pianoteq.  Is no one else "raising" the first node, is this just the difference in our keyboards and/or technique, or am I just confused?  (or D. All of the above.)
