My Teufel Motiv 2 Mk2 loudspeaker is connected to the Pianoteq PC via Toslink. The Pianoteq PC has a Realtek chipset for sound.
I have several possibilities to connect the two devices:
1. Realtek Toslink out via Windows (low latency) driver
2. Realtek Toslink out via asio4all driver
3. USB to ESI U24 XL audio interface using ESI ASIO driver

The ESI U24 XL is also used for other tasks on another PC, so I would have to reconnect it everytime I use Pianoteq. I am aware that asio4all is not a true ASIO driver, but only a wrapper.
Easiest would be to use config #1. Are there any advantages to config #2 vs #1.
Is #3 significantly better (lower latency) than #1 or #2?
