You're right, sorry for the confusion.  I edited my post now. 
It happens on all my platforms (Windows and Ipad), when upgrading the Win version, and when updating the ipad 8.x.x versions.

Ok, cool. Just so you know, it probably wont happen for the iPad at all this time since pianoteq 9 is a seperate app on iOS.
