Now there's this alternative keyboard setup where 2 octaves can be played (image below). This is from the software REAPER, and informs a tradeoff between having dynamics vs. having 2 octaves.

The problem with using another software for input is that pedaling is also unavailable due to most software's mapping for the tab button.

I believe a significant number of users can benefit from having this layout directly in Pianoteq as an option for quick liveplaying.
