]]>I'm experiencing the same problems with trying to initiate multiple instances of Pianoteq 9 in a new MainStage concert
I'm on Sequoia latest version and using a MacBook Pro M4 Pro chip with 48 GB of RAM .I am able to still use Pianoteq 8 as a workaround for now for extra instances .
I use Pianoteq 9 as well and I copy it as an alias but I can only use that instance unfortunately .
Hopefully a bug that will be addressed soon

Well, crap. I decided to try updating my backup laptop to Tahoe, but no joy - I can still only open one instance of P9 per concert.
okay, yeah, that actually works for me, but I'm running the Tahoe 26.1 beta 3 (on this MBP).
Modartt will have to help you further, but I thought I'd see if I could replicate the problem and couldn't. Doesn't solve it for you but it might help them help you.
If you have any intermediate plugin hosts, such as Unify... you can host Unify in MS, and then host Pianoteq inside of Unifi (inside of MS). Really good "secret sauce" on its own, and it "tames" many plugins while running in MS. That might work.

opened an existing Pianoteq concert, and it automagically instantiated Pianoteq 9 where an earlier version would have been...
when I clicked on the button to open the Pianoteq UI, I got this error message.
"Failed to restore saved settings. This is probably caused by a Pianoteg version mismatch."
In the past, it didn't use to automagically open the latest version of Pianoteq, it would load the old one. Perhaps... this concert file was pre-v8? Dunno, but it's different.
