Hi,

unfortunately Pianoteq 9 will not run on older versions of windows such as 7 and 8. It is not that we wanted to deprecate those older platforms, but the tools we are using to build Pianoteq 9 do not allow us anymore to support windows versions older than Windows 10.

I hadn't seen your post, I have the same problem.
But I see you're on Win Seven, so am I.
I have another PC with Win 11 and the upgrade went smoothly...

Hi all,

i just unsuccessfully tried to get the pianoteq 9 trial version running on my Win7/16GB PC (where i have running the latest version of Pianoteq 8 without any problems).

But when i want to run Pianoteq 9 trial version i get the following error message: "The procedure entry point "GetDpiForWindow" was not found in the dll "USER32.dll". Pianoteq 9 does not start.
Restart of PC and reinstalling Pianoteq 9 did not help; still i get the same error message. I also tried "sfc/ scannow" in windows command console, but no error/anomaly was found.

Thanks for any help or ideas!
